The seasides are busy
We have a blazing sun
So now I know
That Summer has begun

Everyone's travelling to Mallorca or Spain
It's really funny
Because everyone's going by plane

Everyone's going abroad
To brave the sun
The number of people in Shefford
Is now reduced to one

It's really very quiet
Because everyone's abroad
If you put it on a tape
There would be nothing to record
