Sandra Grant...
Sandra
Grant, a brilliant local saxophonist, flautist and vocalist will be performing
at St Michael's on Saturday 27th September - the concert kicks off at
7.30pm.
We can't wait to hear the magical combination of St Michael's intimate
acoustic and Sandra's raw and powerful improvisations on the tenor sax,
her smooth sweet flute performances, and her truly amazing ability to
cover any style of music, (jazz, latin, blues, R&B, soul, raggae,
calypso, rock, pop...) with such comfort and ease...

Dann and performed at St Michael's on Saturday 6th October 2007
Cool Classics In Quiet Corners - This top-quality series of
orchestral mini-concerts came to St Michael's for the first time on
Sunday 18th February 2007.
Following a local-interest talk and refreshments, the concert featured
the soloists of the Philharmonia Brass Ensemble and included pieces
by Scheidt, Pachelbel, Ewald, Copland, Weill and Gershwin.

Arada Guitar Duo - this classical guitar duo gave us a breathtaking
performance in September 2006, including works by Napoleon Coste, Mario
Castelnuovo-Tedesco, K. Giorginakis, Dimitri Fampas, Joaquin Rodrigo,

tour, Garth's concert in November 2004 told the story of the Amos
Trust visit to Nicaragua in February 2004. It reflected something
of the hope, potential, dignity and humanity that Amos' partners in
Nicaragua have shown us, and how in turn we might respond...
Angelmas (Workshops) - A series of workshops,
held in August 2003 to start the process of creating a new musical telling
the story of Michael the Archangel and the Great Battle for Heaven.
The performance date is still 'TBA' but with it's mixture of songs,
drama, dance, art etc., Angelmas promises to be an epic production...
